Nicholas James Vujicic born 4 December 1982 is a Serbian-Australian Christian evangelist and motivational speaker born with tetra-amelia syndrome, characterized by the absence of arms and legs. He is one of the seven known individuals planet-wide who live with the syndrome.

Throughout his childhood, Nick dealt not only with the typical challenges of school and adolescence, such as bullying and self-esteem issues, he also struggled with depression and loneliness as he questioned why he was different from all the other kids. He couldn't get the haunting question of “Why was I the one born without arms and legs?” out of his head.

As Nick grew up, he learned to deal with his disability and gradually accomplished more on his own. Attitude Is Altitude is a company founded in 2007 by Nick Vujicic to spark passion, kindle hope and ignite positive change all around the world through live events, keynote speeches, motivational products and resources.
